The Russian occupiers are looking for 1.3 billion rubles (about 530 million hryvnia) to pay off the debt to public sector employees of the so-called “LPR”, which arose during 2014-2015.
The press service of the Lugansk Public Educational Institution reported this today, January 19.
As it turned out, not only teachers worked for free during these two years. Doctors, miners, and light industry workers have recently voiced their claims regarding wages.
It is noted that recently the third promise of the invaders regarding the process of returning these funds was made:
- the first was in the summer of 2023;
- the second – at the end of last year.
But Russians are trying in every possible way to leave these debts in the past – there are no payments, the OVA adds.
