Ukrainian air defense destroyed Russian drones at night.
On the night of January 19, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with the 61st attack UAV of the Shahed type and simulator drones of various types, which were launched from the directions of Millerovo, Bryansk and Orel in Russia. Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the air attack. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on January 19 in Telegram.
43 attack UAVs of the Shahed type and drones of other types were shot down in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkov, Cherkassy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Dnepropetrovsk and Nikolaev regions. Another 15 drones were lost. One UAV is still in the air.
Let us remind you that on January 17, in the Buchansky district of the Kyiv region, a boy born in 2012 was injured as a result of falling debris from an enemy UAV. He was admitted to the hospital.
