In a video shared online, an adult man yells at a child and hits him several times on the head and slaps him in the face.
The comments indicate that the student is a student at an orphanage and allegedly provoked an adult.
The head of the education department of the executive committee of the Varas City Council, Elena Koren, responded to the incident, saying that the teacher would be held accountable and fired.
“A police officer working at the institution reported this unacceptable incident to the police. At the same time, an internal investigation is underway at the educational institution,” the official wrote.
