On one of the sections of the front, the Russian invaders tried to break through armored vehicles. The occupants thus tried to storm the building in which soldiers of the 71st separate Jaeger Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces DShV were holding their defense. The Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook on January 18.
One of the paratroopers with a grenade launcher brought down a hostile MT-LB that was carrying infantry to the Ukrainian positions. The surviving Russians dismounted and began to storm the building. The rangers called for help and fought a battle that lasted almost three hours.
It is noted that, with the support of attack aircraft, paratroopers cleared the building and captured six Russian invaders.
Let us remind you that two paratroopers of the 79th separate assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces came close to one of the Russian positions and captured 14 invaders.
