This is the first time that Norwegian aircraft are scrambling to actively defend Polish airspace, demonstrating the alliance’s commitment to NATO’s eastern flank.
We remind you that on the morning of January 15, the Russians attacked Ukraine with missiles from TU-95MS bombers, ships of the Black Sea Fleet and Iskander launchers.
The target of the aggressors is again the energy sector of Ukraine. Emergency power outages are in effect in some areas.
The aggressors carried out a coordinated attack on Ukraine using various types of missiles, attack drones, and UAV simulators. Most of the enemy targets were destroyed.
