Ukraine will receive from Germany even more than fifty new self-propelled howitzers.
The German government has ordered a further 54 new RCH 155 wheeled howitzers for the Ukrainian Defense Forces. These latest weapons, unveiled just yesterday, “are truly masterpieces of engineering and they are all very special indeed.” German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced this on January 14 before a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

And Zelensky, at a meeting with Pistorius, said that during the full-scale Russian aggression, Ukraine received 16% of all international assistance from Germany.
As you know, the RCH 155 is a modern German self-propelled artillery unit, which is based on a modified Boxer armored personnel carrier chassis and is equipped with an AGM artillery system. . The crew of this self-propelled gun consists of two to three people. Additionally, this mount is unique in that it can fire while moving.
Let us recall that on January 13, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius handed over the first RCH 155 self-propelled gun to the Ukrainian ambassador in Kassel. This system will be used to train Ukrainian crews on German territory.
