Albanizi’s warning came against the backdrop of Elon Musk’s growing political activity on the international stage.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has warned Elon Musk against meddling in the country’s upcoming election. Politico wrote this on Tuesday, January 14.

“We have foreign interference laws and Australian elections are an Australian affair,” Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of the center-left Labor Party warned Musk in an interview with Australian newspaper The Age.

Journalists point out that Musk has greatly influenced British politics by supporting far-right parties UK reforms, suggesting that he could start soon to finance this party, supported the far right Alternative for Germany in future early federal elections, a Romanian court decision to annul the country’s elections was criticized due to possible Russian interference.

The tech billionaire, who has been one of Donald Trump’s most vocal supporters since last summer and earned a place in the US president-elect’s inner circle, is trying to use his newfound political influence around the world.

Musk has previously clashed with the Australian government, calling officials “fascists” in September for pushing legislation aimed at regulating misinformation on social media.

Australian elections will be held in May. Their exact date has not yet been established.

Recall that Musk called German Chancellor Olaf Scholz an “idiot” after the collapse of the coalition in Germany. In addition, the businessman said that it is alleged that only the AfD is capable of solving the problems facing Germany. These statements come amid preparations for parliamentary elections in Germany scheduled for February 2025.

Earlier, Elon Musk called the UK a “brutal police state.” He supported a petition calling for a new general election and shared a documentary of a jailed far-right activist with his followers.

At the same time, Musk is also unhappy with his potential ally, the leader of the right-wing populist party Reform UK, Nigel Farage, because he allegedly “lacks the necessary skills.”
