Ukrainian police use robotic systems in their work.
In particular, soldiers of the KORD special forces showed a modern land drone on four legs. The small and highly mobile BAD-2 robotic can be used for a wide range of tasks. The National Police of Ukraine announced this on Facebook on January 14.
It is noted that the main function of working dogs is reconnaissance, both in open areas and at various objects. Using this drone reduces the risk for police officers when performing dangerous tasks.
The robotic dog is equipped with a high-resolution video camera and a thermal imager. And the operator can control the drone from a distance of more than 2 km. Also, BAD-2 robotic can move quickly and unnoticed and pass through hard-to-reach places.
Let us recall that in December the Armed Forces of Ukraine received a domestically produced universal ground robotic complex CRAB-LS, which can deliver ammunition, equipment, provisions to combat positions and evacuate the wounded.
