Two Ukrainian explosives experts died in the Kherson region.
Two police explosives experts from Zaporozhye – senior lieutenant Alexey Safonov and lieutenant Ilya Dergilev carried out mine clearance in one of the villages of the Belozersk territorial community. They were trying to clear the warhead of a Russian attack drone. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this on Telegram.
It is noted that the explosion occurred during the neutralization of the warhead of an unexploded UAV. Both specialists were fatally wounded.
Let us recall that in October last year, an explosion of ammunition in the Kharkov region led to the injury of civilians. In the city of Dergachi, two local residents tried to dismantle the ammunition, but were injured as a result of the explosion.
