The document will be signed by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
On Tuesday, a document on strategic cooperation between Armenia and the United States will be signed in Washington. The Armenian Foreign Ministry announced this on January 14.
“Today in Washington, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will sign a document on the strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States,” the statement said.
The signing ceremony is scheduled for 22:00 Yerevan time (20:00 Kyiv time). The broadcast will take place on the platforms of the Armenian Foreign Ministry and on the YouTube channel of the US State Department.
Earlier it became known that Armenia cooperates with the United States in all areas in the field of defense, especially in the military and military-technical fields. This is what the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Edward Asryan said.
It was also reported that Armenia is discussing with the United States the construction of a new nuclear power plant, which should replace the only Armenian nuclear power plant in Metsamor, which was built in the late 1970s.
