Deepstate analysts, in collaboration with a unit of the Defense Forces, identified the occupier who in June last year gave the order to cut off the head of a Ukrainian prisoner of war – he turned out to be the repeatedly convicted commander of the assault company of the Storm detachment.
There are at least three beheadings involving Russian war criminals, Deepstate reports.
On June 17, 2024, Russian occupiers operating in the Staromayorsky, Volnovakha districts, Donetsk region, received a criminal order from their commanders: instead of taking Ukrainian military personnel prisoner, they were to be killed by cutting off their heads.
UP journalists learned about this case. An interception of a conversation between a Muscovite commander was published, giving the order to his subordinates to “cut off their heads and impale them.”
A team of osinters entered into cooperation with an unnamed unit of the Ukrainian Defense Forces to work together to identify the criminal. OSINT and other methods were used.
The criminal has a pseudo-Sberbank and during the investigation it was determined that he is the commander of the assault company of the “Storm” detachment of the 394th Motorized Rifle Division of the 127th Motorized Rifle Division of the 5th Army.
He is credited with at least three cases of “cutting off heads”:
- June 17, 2024: Journalists released an audio recording recording Chikhabakh’s order to behead a Ukrainian prisoner of war and a public demonstration of the chairman.
- November 27, 2024: The order was given to cut off the head of a deceased Ukrainian serviceman.
- December 1, 2024: The order was given to capture, interrogate, and then shoot a Ukrainian soldier, and then cut off his head.
Russian citizen Dmitry Anatolyevich Chikhabakh, born on December 14, 1989, is hiding under the pseudonym Sber. An interview with one of the telegram channels helped significantly.
He may live at one of the addresses:
Primorsky Territory, Spassky district, Stary Klyuch railway station, st. Razdolnaya, 4-A Primorsky Territory, Ussuriysk, lane. Tikhiy, 10, apt. 65
INN: 251135282341. Insurance number (SNILS): 140-072-284-09. Mobile phone: +79016747828
According to the database, in 2006 he disappeared from orphanage No. 2 in the city of Ussuriysk. In 2011, Chikhabakh was detained for possession of narcotic substances. The discovered package of marijuana (40.5 g) became the basis for initiating a criminal case under Article 228 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. His record includes other convictions under articles 158 (theft), 159 (fraud) and 119 (threat of murder). It would seem that such a track record should become an obstacle to a military career, but the reality turned out to be different.
Chikhabakh actively uses the social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki.
A unit of the Defense Forces handed over materials about him to law enforcement agencies, and this article is an example that war criminals will sooner or later be identified.
