The report states that on Sunday, July 10, at 22:50, an AWACS aircraft A-50 of the Aerospace Forces (VKS) of the Russian Federation with registration number RF-94268 flew from the airfield in Machulishchi. The task of this aircraft is to provide coordinates to fighter pilots for strikes against targets.
Throughout the night, the A-50 flew winding from Baranovichi to Slutsk, while changing altitudes from 9150 meters to 9700 m. The aircraft finished after six hours and 20 minutes at 04:39 and landed at the military airport in Machulishchi at 05:10.
Also throughout the night, fighter jets flew in the air, working shifts along the A-50 in pairs at altitudes from seven to eight thousand meters.
