A victim of a flood of questionable comments, the 26-year-old actress posted a plea on Instagram, calling on women to leave their bodies alone.

She bet on a fuchsia dress that is voluptuous and sheer to attend the Valentino fashion show held on the Grand Staircase of the Spanish Steps in Rome on July 8. The outfit revealed her breasts and “small nipples”. A boldness that did not go unnoticed, as Florence Pugh, who stood out in the film. The young lady (2016) and Midsommar (2019) – has been the target of what he termed “body shaming” by most men on Instagram this Sunday, July 10.

“Listen, I knew when I was wearing this amazing Valentino dress that there was no way it was going to be interpreted. Whether it was negative or positive, we all knew what we were doing,” the actress began, writing the photos of the evening under the carousel. After which Florence Pugh, however, asked herself about “how easily men can completely destroy a woman’s body, publicly, proudly, in front of everyone.” And this is in 2022.

And add: “This is not the first time, and it certainly won’t be the last, that a woman has been told what’s wrong with her body by a crowd of strangers. What is disturbing is the vulgarity of some of you men. The actress continued her lengthy message, explaining that she, for her part, “has come to accept the nuances of (her) body.” “I am satisfied with all the ‘flaws’ that I couldn’t wait to look at at the age of 14,” he said.

“small breasts”

Many of the criticisms received focused on “her small breasts”, “her flat chest” and her nipples. “I lived in my body for a long time. I am fully aware of the size of my breasts and am not afraid of them. Even more disturbing is… Why are you so afraid of breasts? Small? Big? Left? Right? Only one? Maybe none,” he said.

She, who explained that she grew up in a house full of “strong, powerful and beautiful” women, said she was proud of her body’s “curves” and was tired of such judgements. “In this industry, I’ve always made it my mission to say ‘fake it and turn it on’ when someone expects my body to conform to an opinion that dictates what is sexy or sexually attractive.” – he wrote. “Grow up. Respect people. Respect bodies. Respect all women. Respect people. Life will be a lot easier, I promise you,” he concluded, before quipping, “And all because of two cute little nipples…”
