The Ukrainian army repelled a massive attack by Russian drones.
On the night of January 11, the enemy launched 74 attack UAVs of the Shahed type and simulator drones of various types across Ukraine in the directions of Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk of the Russian Federation. The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Telegram.
As of 9:00 am, 47 Shaheds and other drones were confirmed to have been killed. Enemy targets were destroyed in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkov, Cherkassy, Chernigov, Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Kirovograd, Kherson and Nikolaev regions.
Debris from enemy UAVs damaged outbuildings, institutions, private homes, and vehicles in seven regions. No one was killed beforehand. The consequences are already being eliminated, and assistance is being provided to the victims.
Another 27 enemy simulator drones were lost in location, but without negative consequences.
Let us remind you that on the night of January 10, the Russian army attacked Kyiv with attack drones. In the Solomensky district, a UAV hit the technical floor of a 16-story residential building.
