Bloomberg writes that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will visit Ukraine. They will talk about the deployment of peacekeepers.
President Zelensky announced Keir Starmer’s visit after the 25th meeting with allies in the Ramstein format. He did not specify the date.
EU leaders are discussing the deployment of international peacekeeping forces in Ukraine amid Trump’s promises to end the war.
The mission plan will likely appear later to avoid the risk of escalation from Russia, the publication writes.
It is noted that the initiative was founded by French President Emmanuel Macron. Macron and Starmer are also understood to have reaffirmed their strong support for Ukraine and discussed the importance of putting the country in its “strongest position in 2025”.
According to Bloomberg, Keir Starmer’s visit will take place in the coming weeks as Europe ramps up preparations for Trump’s return to the White House.
