In the Cherkasy region, starting today, January 10, a pilot project on air alert notification is being introduced.
The head of the Cherkasy OVA, Igor Taburets, announced this in his Telegram channel.
Considering the number and duration of air raids in our region and for the smooth operation of enterprises, institutions and organizations, today we are introducing a pilot project in the region. Having previously worked out all the algorithms with specialized services and the military, he noted.
The innovations provide that:
- in case of danger due to enemy drones, differentiation will be carried out by area – the “Air Raid Alert” signal will be received by a certain area of the region where a target is detected or there is a potential threat, in particular, from the operation of air defense systems;
- in case of missile danger – no changes. That is, an air raid alert will be announced simultaneously throughout the entire area.
