People’s Deputy Nikolai Tishchenko appeared at the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada.
He appeared in the session hall of parliament on Wednesday, January 8. People’s deputies Yaroslav Zheleznyak and Alexey Goncharenko reported this on Telegram.
Tishchenko himself said that he had reconsidered his position and no longer wanted to be a threat to bot farms and would “fight call centers.” He stressed that he had “revised his strategy for the new year 2025” and assured that his house arrest had expired.
As you know, Tishchenko is a suspect in the case of illegal imprisonment of former military man Dmitry Mazokha. Until December 23, 2024, he was under 24-hour house arrest. The court was supposed to re-elect Tishchenko as a preventive measure on January 6, but the hearing was postponed to January 10 – Tishchenko’s lawyer asked for the judge’s recusal.
In December 2024, Tishchenko did not come to court twice because he complained about his health. The parliamentarian stated that he was “heartbroken.”
Let us remind you that the bodyguard of MP Nikolai Tishchenko, Konstantin Tsubera, who together with him is suspected of attacking a military man in the Dnieper, entered into an agreement with the investigation and undertook to testify.
