The State Emergency Service completed a rescue operation at the site of a Russian airstrike in the residential sector of the village of Svesa, Sumy region. This is stated in the department’s message.
“Dog teams of the State Emergency Service are also involved in the search work. No people were found under the rubble,” the message said.
It is known that ten people were injured due to the strike, including two children.
According to rescuers, 15 apartments in a five-story residential building were destroyed as a result of the attack. A private residential building was also destroyed.
At the same time, the blast wave damaged approximately 900 windows in four five-story and seven private residential buildings.
46 rescuers and 12 pieces of equipment worked at the scene.
