The Russian Federation reports an attack on the Millerovo airfield

Social networks wrote that a military airport was attacked by dozens of drones. Explosions are also heard in Taganrog.

On the night of Sunday, January 5, sirens and explosions were heard in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. Russian Telegram channels report UAV attacks on the Millerovo military airfield, as well as in Taganrog.

“There was an attack on a military airport in Millerovo,” reported the VChK-OGPU channel and added a video of eyewitnesses.

“Air defense crews shot down a whole group of UAVs over Millerovo,” local channel This is Rostov News added.

That same night, sirens and explosions could be heard in Taganrog, also located in the Rostov region.

“Sirens in Taganrog. Subscribers have counted more than 20 explosions,” the local channel reported.

We remind you that the attack on Millerovo was last reported on December 23. Then the CPD said that this airport serves as a base for front-line aviation, which performs the tasks of supporting the Russian infantry operating in east and south of Ukraine.

Also, the Baltimore military airfield in Voronezh, Russia, was attacked by at least five drones on January 2. All drones were reportedly shot down. It was also reported that on the night of January 4, the Voronezh region was again attacked by drones. There are reports online of explosions in the region.
