The rescue operation in Chernigov, which continued after yesterday’s missile strike, has been completed.
One person was killed as a result of a Russian Iskander missile attack. Seven people were injured. Two victims are in inpatient treatment, and five are in outpatient treatment. The head of the Chernigov city military administration, Dmitry Brizhinsky, announced this on January 4 in Telegram.
The enemy attack damaged 28 houses and destroyed two. Experts have already resumed supplies of electricity and gas in the area of destruction. City services and volunteer organizations continue to help all victims.
The State Emergency Service reported that this morning at the site of the hit, State Emergency Service sappers examined the area for the presence of explosive objects, but found no dangerous finds. After that, rescuers dismantled the damaged structures of houses and helped residents find their personal belongings under the rubble.
Let us remind you that on January 3, the Russian occupiers launched a missile attack on Chernigov. The shelling destroyed and damaged more than ten private houses. Previously, it was known about one death and five wounded.
