Local media found Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico in Vietnam after a visit to the Kremlin.
The Slovak publication Dennik N reports that there was no information about the whereabouts of the Slovak Prime Minister for two weeks.
After a trip to the Kremlin, Fico “disappeared.” He was finally found in a luxury hotel in Vietnam.
The last time Fico’s whereabouts were known was on December 22, when he came to the power of Mir Putin. After that, his office did not comment on where the prime minister was.
At the same time, his latest video, in which he threatened to limit aid to Ukrainians in Slovakia due to a transit stop, was filmed in a room at the five-star Capella Hanoi hotel in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi.
A reader of Dennik N recognized the details of the hotel room in the video – an old telephone and curtains.
Meanwhile, in the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava, about 4 thousand people rallied against the pro-Russian policies of their Prime Minister Robert Fico.
We are not a Russian rag,” the speakers told Fico’s government, noting that they want to give Slovakia to Russia.
The protesters held the flags of the EU and Slovakia, and also played the anthem of the European Union and said that it was their anthem too.
The posters read “Slovakia, beware, the occupation has begun”, “Fico, go to Moscow, leave Slovakia alone”, “Betrayal” and “We are Europe”.
On January 3, Slovakia’s state power grid operator SEPS, despite Prime Minister Roberto Fico’s threats to Ukraine due to the cessation of Russian gas transit, assured that it would comply with contracts concluded with Ukrenergo.
Kyiv’s decision not to renew the agreement with the Kremlin did not lead to the disaster that the Slovak prime minister tried to make it out to be.
