In Ukraine, tomorrow, January 4, icy conditions are expected on the roads of Kyiv, the Kyiv region and most regions of Ukraine (except the south and southeast).
The State Emergency Service reports this with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
Wind gusts of up to 15-18 m/s are also predicted (danger level I, yellow) in the northern and central regions.
Such weather conditions can lead to complications in the work of energy, construction, utility companies and traffic.
In addition, from January 3 to 4 in the highlands of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, and from January 3 to 6 in the eastern part of the Transcarpathian region, significant snow avalanche danger (level III) is expected.
Be careful! If possible, stay at home, drink hot tea and enjoy watching New Year’s films. And in case of an air raid, get down to the shelter! — noted in the department.
