North Korean troops continue to be involved in hostilities in the Kursk region of Russia.
North Korean fighters continue to suffer significant casualties among their personnel. To replace losses and strengthen positions, Russian commanders are transferring new North Korean military personnel to the front line. this was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on January 2 in Telegram.
The Main Intelligence Directorate noted that lower-level commanders lie in reports to the high command about real losses among North Korean fighters.
The morale of North Korean soldiers has fallen, although they are constantly being convinced that the North Korean army is “of great importance” in the war against Ukraine. It got to the point that they got drunk on New Year’s Eve.
Let us recall that in the Kursk region, over the course of three days, operators of the Special Operations Forces using drones destroyed 77 and wounded more than 40 North Korean soldiers. 12 vehicles, three buggies and an armored fighting vehicle were also destroyed.
