The rules for crossing the state border have been changed for Ukrainian men.
The new changes apply to men aged 18 to 25 years who served under a contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine or an intelligence agency, who, before concluding such a contract, did not serve in military service (except for basic military service). Such persons will be allowed to cross borders during martial law. The permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, announced this on December 31 in Telegram.
Passage of this category of men across the border subject to the rules for crossing the state border and the presence of: a certificate issued by the commander of a military unit (the head of the district (united district), city (district in cities, united city) TCC and SP), the head of the corresponding unit of the intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defense, indicating information about the conclusion of such a contract.
To travel abroad in the above category you need:
- a certificate issued by the commander of a military unit, the head of the relevant unit of the intelligence agency of the MOU;
- military registration document.
Let us remind you that a new checkpoint “Nizhankovichi – Malkhovichi” has opened on the border with Poland in the Lviv region. Up to 7 thousand people and 4 thousand cars will be able to pass there every day.
