The country intends to strengthen security forces in the Baltic Sea and cooperate closely with NATO forces.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at the last government meeting in 2024 that Poland will experience “positive success” in 2025. This was reported by Polsat News on Tuesday, December 31.
“Our heritage forces us to make difficult decisions that have more in common with renovating than building a new house,” Tusk said.
According to him, the Polish authorities faced problems last year “after many years of legal chaos” and stressed that the country’s government is responsible for what will happen in the coming years.
“I want to say to everyone present in this room and to everyone in Poland that 2025 will be a year of positive campaign victories, we will still be stuck, even until July, in this system of law and lawlessness at the same time, but we can handle it,” the head of government emphasized.
According to Tusk, the next year will be key for Poland’s security. At the same time, he mentioned plans to strengthen security in the Baltic Sea in cooperation with NATO forces.
“By 2025, Poland will be stronger than ever in its modern history,” he added.
Poland, under certain conditions, is ready to shoot down Russian missiles on its territory that are being used by Russian troops to attack Ukraine.
