The price increase will affect both the passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card, and the passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad.
Registration of passports will become more expensive in Ukraine from January 1 due to the increase in prices for the forms of individual documents. The State Migration Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
The Migration Service noted that due to the new value of the forms of individual biometric documents, from January 1, 2025, the price of obtaining a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card, a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad, and permits for temporary and permanent residence in Ukraine will increase.

registration of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card for the first time is free;
-
registration of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card up to 20 working days – 558 hryvnia;
-
registration of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card up to 10 working days – 928 hryvnia.

passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad up to 20 working days – 1042 hryvnias;
-
passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad up to 7 working days – 1682 Hryvnia.

permanent residence permit in Ukraine – 1175 hryvnia;
-
temporary residence permit in Ukraine – 1080 Hryvnia.
Ukrainians who paid for administrative services and submitted an application for documents before December 31 will receive documents at the old price.
Those who have paid for administrative services before December 31, but have not yet submitted an application for paperwork, will be able to pay more at the rates in effect at the time the application is submitted.
In addition, the service of simultaneous registration of a foreign passport and a citizen’s passport is available at administrative service centers. The Cabinet of Ministers made the corresponding decision in a meeting on December 31. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this on Facebook.
This decision was made to carry out the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers dated May 16, 2014. Some issues of the provision of administrative services through the centers for the provision of administrative services in accordance with the Law of Ukraine dated May 9 of this year No. 3709-IX of Ukraine, among other countries.
