Five people died in a road accident in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
An accident involving a car and a truck occurred in the village of Nastashino. Among the dead were girls aged 15 and 18 and three boys aged 16, 18 and 20.
The police found out that a 20-year-old guy was driving the car. He exceeded the speed limit and drove into the oncoming lane, causing him to collide with a truck.
The driver of a BMW 520, a resident of Burshtyn, drove into oncoming traffic on a curved section and collided with a DAF truck driven by a 52-year-old resident of the Republic of Moldova. The police also found out that the residual tread height of the rear wheels of the BMW did not meet the established standards.
