The Ukrainian military occupied a village in the Kursk region, which was held by Russian and North Korean troops. This was announced by the Special Operations Forces (SOF) on Tuesday, December 31.
“The Rangers of the 6th Regiment of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, thanks to offensive actions, occupied one of the settlements in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation,” the message said.
It is indicated that this preceded the work of our artillery. Later on the ground, MTR fighters entered the village, recaptured and cleared it as part of special operations.
The military learned that North Korean soldiers were holding this village along with the Russians.
