Today, December 30, Ukraine, as a result of another prisoner exchange, dismissed, in particular, five representatives of military unit No. 3041, who guarded the Chernobyl nuclear power plant at the beginning of a full-scale invasion.
They were in Russian captivity for more than two years. The Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine Svetlana Grinchuk announced her Facebook page.
Unfortunately, 70 defenders of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant still remain in captivity. We remember them and will continue to fight for everyone, she emphasized.
Let us remind you that today 189 Ukrainians were returned from Russian captivity. Among them, in particular, are the defenders of Mariupol and Zmeinoye. Many of them were in Russian captivity for more than two and a half years.
