Ukrainian partisans scouted a secret air base of the Russian Federal Security Service.
The Russian airfield “Danilovo” is located near Yoshkar-Ola in the Mari El Republic. The airfield is still used by the FSB air group, although previously the 681st Air Defense Fighter Regiment was based there. ATESH reported about this resistance movement on December 30 on Telegram.
At the airfield, Ukrainian agents spotted multi-purpose helicopters Mi-8 and Ka-226, military transport aircraft An-72, An-26 and Il-76. The Russians use this equipment to transport goods and personnel.
It is noted that enhanced security measures and a high level of secrecy at the facility did not prevent the partisans from successfully completing their tasks and remaining undetected.
ATESH noted that due to a shortage of qualified personnel, Russian intelligence services are increasingly losing control even over objects of high importance.
Let us remind you that Ukrainian partisans conducted reconnaissance of the Saki airbase near the village of Novofedorivka in occupied Crimea. Construction work and special equipment were observed on the territory of the airfield. This suggests that the invaders are trying to build defenses for the aircraft.
