Latvia will transfer a large batch of unmanned aerial vehicles to Ukraine
The Latvian government has already prepared these UAVs for transfer. The new batch includes a thousand drones. Delivery times are not announced. Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds wrote about new assistance to Ukraine on the social network H.
According to him, in 2025 Latvia plans to allocate 20 million euros for the purchase of drones for Ukraine.
Let us remind you that the drone coalition is led by Latvia and the UK. It is expected that from the beginning of 2025, the countries of the drone coalition and the maritime coalition within the Ramstein format will begin massively supplying Ukraine with tens of thousands of drones of various types in January.
