The State Bureau of Investigation conducted searches for the commander of the 211th pontoon-bridge brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Support Forces, Oleg Poberezhnyuk. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to its own sources.
The investigation believes that Poberezhnyuk knew about the facts of torture and other inhumane treatment by officer Vladislav Pastukhov, but he did not respond and did not initiate the issue of bringing him to justice.
For this, according to sources, the suspicion is being prepared for the brigade commander.
As you know, Ukrainskaya Pravda published material about the 211th brigade. Military personnel who drink alcohol and refuse to pay for the “silence” of such facts are beaten. Journalists found out that the brigade commander’s godson Oleg Poberezhnyuk was involved in bullying.
We remind you that Poberezhnyuk is also suspected of abuse of official position with serious consequences. He was arrested for military involvement in the construction of a house in the Khmelnitsky region. However, the brigade commander was released from custody on bail of more than 900 thousand hryvnias.
