A cargo of approximately 100 million cubic meters of gas or 1 TWh of energy aboard the Gaslog Savannah arrived at the Revitus LNG terminal.

Ukraine received liquefied natural gas from the United States via Greece for the first time. This was announced by the head of the Presidential Office (OP), Andrey Ermak, on the social network Kh.

“It’s not just a shipment — it’s a strategic move,” he said.

According to him, this was possible despite Russia’s attempts to destroy the Ukrainian energy system during the war.

“We have won another victory on the energy front,” summed up the OP leader.

DTEK received the first shipment of liquefied natural gas from the United States after the LNG ship docked in Greece.

A shipment of approximately 100 million cubic meters of gas or 1 TWh of energy aboard the Gaslog Savannah arrived at the Revitus LNG terminal on Friday morning, December 27th. D.TRADING, DTEK’s European trading subsidiary, purchased the entire shipment.

The LNG will be reprocessed and shipped through the gas networks of the European Union and Ukraine.

Earlier, President Vladimir Zelensky said that Russia earns $10-12 billion per month from the shadow fleet.
