Currently, more than 139 underground schools and several dozen vocational education institutions are being built in Ukraine, said Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Nadezhda Kuzmicheva. Suspilne reported this on Friday, December 27.
Thus, there are currently 79 facilities under active construction, and up to ten will be commissioned by the end of this year.
“All these construction projects are being carried out in the front-line and border regions, where there is constant shelling and hits But we expect the completion of the construction of absolutely all facilities by September 1, 2025. Because from January we are entering a. new cycle. We are allocating more money for new facilities,” – explained the official.
We remind you that six underground schools will appear in Kharkov. Three of them are planned to be completed in the near future.
