As is known, on December 25, an Azerbaijan Airlines plane flying from Baku to Grozny crashed near Aktau in Kazakhstan. There were 67 people on board, including five crew members. Of these, 42 are citizens of Azerbaijan, 16 of Russia, six of Kazakhstan and three of Kyrgyzstan.
Subsequently, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andrei Kovalenko, said that the Russians destroyed the plane with an anti-aircraft missile system, which caused it to crash in Kazakhstan.
