This makes Vremya Yar one of the main directions for the enemy, because this settlement is a dominant height, which allows the Ukrainian Armed Forces to effectively hold it. The press secretary of the operational-strategic group of forces (OSGV) “Khortitsa” Viktor Tregubov said this on air at the telethon.
However, today, December 26, no military clashes with the enemy were recorded in the Temporary Yar.
According to the officer, the occupiers are now accumulating reserves opposite the city and in the surrounding area for further assault operations. This week, in general, the main battles are taking place along the Seversky Donets – Donbass canal.
Let us remind you that the Khortitsa OSUO stated that the Russian invaders are trying to break through the defenses of the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region from the flanks, avoiding a frontal assault, but are suffering significant losses. In this direction, the enemy greatly outnumbers the Ukrainian Defense Forces in manpower.
