North Korea is apparently preparing to deploy additional troops to Russia and provide it with military equipment.
North Korea is preparing to send more troops and military equipment to Russia, including kamikaze drones. Yonhap wrote this with reference to South Korean intelligence data.
“A comprehensive assessment of multiple intelligence data shows that North Korea is preparing to rotate or increase the deployment of troops in Russia,” South Korean intelligence said, noting that the DPRK currently provides Russia with 240- mm rocket launcher and a 170-mm self-propelled gun.
In addition, intelligence officials note that North Korea is beginning to produce and supply kamikaze drones, which were first demonstrated during an inspection by Kim Jong-un in November.
North Korea has sent thousands of troops to fight on Russia’s side in the war against Ukraine, and South Korean intelligence estimates the death toll at around 1,100.
Let’s recall that earlier the Security Service of Ukraine intercepted the conversations of the Russian invaders, which indicated huge losses to the DPRK military in the Kursk region.
The Ukrainian military showed a video from the Kursk region, where the corpses of Russian and North Korean soldiers were shown.
