Environmentalists predict that the sand on Anapi’s beaches will be cleared of toxic waste in at least ten years by a large-scale fuel oil spill.
11 dead dolphins have been found on the coast of Anapa after an oil spill as a result of the collapse of Russian tankers near the Kerch Strait. This was announced by Tatyana Beley, director of the scientific and environmental center of Delphi.
“Six are on the shore Two are in the water, these are in Novorossiysk and on the beach near the village of Blagoveshchenskaya All are Azov women,” said Beley.
Carcasses of mammals are found in Anapa and the Sea of Azov, they are covered with fuel oil.
Let’s add that after the accident of two Russian tankers in the Kerch Strait, 1,700 tons of sand and fuel were collected on the coast in the Krasnodar Territory.
In this regard, environmentalists have warned that the sand on the beaches of Anapa will remain toxic for at least 10 years due to a large fuel oil spill.
We remind you that after the crash, fuel oil from tankers washed up on the coast of Krasnodar Territory – the beaches turned black from fuel oil.
Let’s add that the third and fourth tankers of the Volgoneft series, full of fuel oil, sent a distress signal to the Black Sea. There was a cargo leak on the ship.
