Over the past day, December 21, the deoccupied part of the Kherson region was under attack by enemy UAVs, artillery and mortar fire.
The Russians also launched missile and air strikes. This was reported by the press service of the Kherson region police.
As a result of enemy hits, civilians were injured, 22 private houses, three vehicles and an administrative building were damaged. In particular:
- in the Kherson region, the regional center, Antonovka, Belozerka, Molodeznoye, Pridneprovskoe, Tomina Balka, Stanislav and Sadovoe were under enemy fire. In the Berislavsky district, three settlements came under Russian shelling – Zmievka, Novoaleksandrovka and Novoraisk, and Russian troops also beat up Kozatsky and Vesely in the Kakhovsky district;
- At night, the Russians fired at Antonovka with cannon artillery. The enemy also used a kamikaze drone. As a result of the explosions, two private houses were damaged;
- In the morning, Belozerschina was shelled from artillery. In Tomina Balka, a Russian shell hit a private house. As a result of the explosion, a 69-year-old man died on the spot. In Belozerka, two private houses were damaged. And in Stanislav, a 68-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man were injured, two private houses were damaged;
- The Korabelny district of Kherson was also under artillery fire. As a result of the attack, a 15-year-old girl was slightly injured, six private houses and two cars were damaged;
- in the afternoon, the Russians dropped ammunition from a drone in Molodezhny. As a result of the explosion, a civilian minibus suffered mechanical damage;
- as a result of mortar shelling of Zmievka, five private houses were damaged;
- The enemy also again attacked Belozerka with artillery. As a result of the explosions, an administrative building and three private houses were damaged and a 22-year-old man was injured;
- In the evening, the Russians sent seven air bombs and a rocket to the territory of Antonovka. Sadovoye and Pridneprovskoye also came under airstrikes; the enemy dropped two bombs on each settlement.
In total, investigators from the Kherson region police have launched 12 criminal proceedings over the past 24 hours regarding the facts of war crimes by military personnel of the Russian army. Currently, the necessary investigative measures are being taken to properly document and investigate crimes committed by Russians against civilians, the police said.
