“Professor from the trenches” Fedor Sandor was appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Hungary; Vladimir Zelensky signed a corresponding decree on December 21.
In August 2023, Hungary agreed to the appointment of Sándor as Ukraine’s ambassador a few months after Kyiv sent a request for Agreman.
Fedor Shandor, a professor at Uzhgorod National University, volunteered for the army in February 2022 and lectured students on the trenches in between battles.
When I have a couple, I am on duty at night, and immediately after duty in the morning I see the couple off. On other days I do arranging my life, digging trenches, etc. I always spend a couple at the dugout. There had just been shelling, and we were reading errors in the modules. “I went into the dugout and continued to give a lecture,” Sandor said earlier.
Let us recall that on December 20-21, the president appointed new ambassadors in a number of countries, in particular:

The corresponding decrees were published on the website of the President of Ukraine.
