Ukraine repelled a massive Russian drone attack – the enemy launched 113 UAVs.
On the night of December 21, the Russians launched an S-400 anti-aircraft guided missile from the occupied Donetsk region in the direction of the Poltava region. And attack UAVs of the Shahed type and other types were launched in the directions of Bryansk, Millerovo, Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarskaya and Berdyansk. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Telegram.
Anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the air attack. Air defense operated in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkov, Kyiv, Chernigov, Cherkassy, Zhitomir, Khmelnytsky, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions. Confirmed beatings of 57 drones.
Another 56 Russian simulator drones were lost in location.
Debris from downed drones damaged private and apartment buildings, property and cars of citizens in the Zaporozhye and Kharkov regions.
Let us recall that on the night of December 20, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with 65 Shahed-type attack UAVs and drones of other types and hit Kyiv with five Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles. The air defense destroyed all the missiles that damaged the capitals and shot down 40 Shaheds.
