The Church of St. Nicholas in Kyiv was damaged by Russian rocket attacks on December 20.
The blast wave partially knocked out the façade stained glass. The windows of the administrative building of the National House of Music, located next to the church, were also damaged. The Ukrainian International Institute of Restoration reported this on Facebook.

Meanwhile, in Kyiv, the number of victims increased to 12 people, a 53-year-old man died. Among the wounded are men and women from 19 to 58 years old. For most of the victims, doctors diagnosed multiple shrapnel wounds and bruises on the body.
Law enforcement officers have already begun criminal proceedings on the fact of a war crime that led to the death of a person – Part 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, informed on Telegram that the city has created a headquarters where residents of affected houses can turn for help.
Let us recall that on the morning of December 20, Russia attacked Kyiv with five Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, which the enemy launched from the Voronezh and Bryansk regions. The air defense managed to destroy all the missiles, but debris from the downed missiles caused damage and destruction in Goloseevsky, Dneprovsky, Solomensky and Shevchenkovsky.
