59% of survey participants are in favor of strict measures against Moscow, even if they lead to aggravation of the situation for German companies (against – 33%), and 57% – if as a result the prices of electricity and the total cost of living increased (against – 38%).
At the same time, almost half of the inhabitants of Germany are afraid of ruining their own economic situation: 48% of respondents hope that in a year their economic situation will be worse than the current situation.
41% of survey participants believed that their situation would not change, and only 8% saw an improvement in it.
The sociological study Deutschlandtrend was conducted by the Infratest dimap institute at the behest of the public legal TV channel ARD on July 4-6, and 1327 people participated in it.
The other day, German Chancellor Scholz urged citizens to be prepared for prolonged inflation. It is not possible to overcome the current crisis with rising prices in a few months, he warned.
