South Korean intelligence believes that at least one hundred North Korean soldiers have been killed in the Kursk region, and the number of wounded is approaching a thousand.

The DPRK lost at least one hundred military personnel stationed in the Russian Federation in the Kursk region, and another thousand were injured in clashes with Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region. This was said by South Korean Parliament member Lee Song Kwon, citing the country’s intelligence data, Reuters reports.

The reason for the huge losses is the lack of experience of the North Korean troops in combat operations using drones and ignorance of the open terrain where they participate in battles.

He attributed the discrepancy in the estimate of North Korean military casualties from a US military official to a relatively modest analysis by South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS).

He added that there are signs that North Korea is preparing for further deployment of troops.

According to American and South Korean officials, more than 10,000 North Korean troops have been sent to help Russia in the war. Despite this, neither North Korea nor Russia have officially acknowledged the deployment of troops and the supply of weapons.

As we have already written, the Security Service of Ukraine intercepted the conversations of the Russian invaders, which indicated the huge military losses of the DPRK in the Kursk region.

Earlier, the Ukrainian military showed a video from the Kursk region, where the corpses of Russian and North Korean soldiers were shown.
