The ruling regime of the Russian Federation did not comment on the explosions in this city, although it recalled “UAV attacks” in the Kursk and Bryansk regions.
The explosions took place in Rostov on the night of December 18. Ukrainian drones allegedly attacked Rostov. This was reported by the Russian BBC service.
“Local authorities and the military have not yet reported anything about the attack, and there is no information yet about its consequences,” the publication said.
At the same time, Rostov Telegram channels published a video from a surveillance camera where three explosions can be heard and a video with the sound of a drone flying.
Additionally, local propagandists claimed that it was supposedly “air defense work.”
In the morning, the Russian Ministry of Defense provided information about an alleged drone attack in the Bryansk and Kursk regions, but the report did not mention the explosions in Rostov.
Earlier it was reported that explosions were heard in the Russian Federation in the area of the Khanskaya military airfield near the city of Maykop (Adygea).
In addition, Ukrainian naval drones successfully attacked Russian targets at captured gas platforms off the coast of temporarily occupied Crimea.
