Poland, in a sense, is also a front-line state and increasingly a target of sabotage, the Polish Prime Minister said.
Poland cannot give everything to help Ukraine. This is what Prime Minister Donald Tusk said during a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Lviv on Tuesday, December 17, PAP reports.
At the same time, Tusk assured that Ukraine can continue to count on Poland’s support.
“We cannot give everything in a certain sense, we are a front-line state is increasingly the target of sabotage, sabotage, and hybrid actions directed directly against our citizens, our state,” said he.
Tusk expressed the opinion that Poland’s commitment to Ukraine is the defense of his own country and Europe from the hostile actions of the Russian Federation, which “are no longer directed only against Ukraine.”
According to him, Poland and Ukraine are united not only by a common geopolitical interest, but also by a “deep sense of justice.”
Tusk emphasized that peace in Ukraine will be possible if it is fair, and it is if the entire Western world is committed to its efforts.
Tusk also said that Poland is preparing 46 parts of aid for Ukraine. It will be given in January.
Tusk announced “progress” on historical issues in Ukraine
