Two boys – 15 and 17 years old – have already received calls from the occupiers and were forced to undergo military training.
Ukraine returns five more children from temporarily occupied territories. This was announced on Tuesday, December 17, by the Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President, Daria Zarivnaya.
According to him, among the evacuated children are two brothers aged six and 10 years old who have not been in school or kindergarten for three years.
“Because of their pro-Ukrainian position, parents do not send their children to Russian institutions soaked in propaganda,” Zarivnaya said.
Another 10-year-old girl lived in a village that, since the beginning of a large-scale war, was completely cut off from the outside world – the Russian invaders “did not allow the importation of any humanitarian aid, even food, medicine and clothing.”
Also, 15-year-old Igor and 17-year-old Denis were returned to Ukrainian-controlled territory. According to Zarovnaya, the Russians forced the boys to undergo military training and gave them summonses to serve in the Russian army.
“For the men, returning to Ukrainian-controlled territory has become a matter of life and death,” Zarivnaya added.
He noted that these children are currently in the territory controlled by Ukraine, but thousands of other children remain in Russia and the temporarily occupied territories.
We remind you that last week it was reported that five Ukrainian children and their families were able to return to the controlled territory of Ukraine.
