The Social Democratic Party of Germany is against the transfer of Taurus long-range missiles to Ukraine.
This political force in its election program excluded any possibility of transferring these weapons to Ukraine. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has also previously repeatedly spoken out against such an idea. This was reported by Deutsche Welle with reference to the dpa agency.
Journalists received the draft election program of the Social Democrats. And this indicates that the SPD supports Szolszcz’s position regarding the ban on the transfer of Taurus to Ukraine.
At the same time, the election program declared support for the deployment of US long-range missiles on German territory.
Today, December 16, the Bundestag is scheduled to vote for a vote of no confidence in Scholz. Steinmeier will then officially call early parliamentary elections, tentatively scheduled to take place on February 23, 2025.
Let us remind you that Friedrich Merz, a candidate for the post of Chancellor of Germany, said that if he wins the elections in Germany, he will provide Ukraine with Taurus long-range missiles. Leader of the CDU
