This year, Ukrzaliznytsia delivers the light of the Light of Bethlehem across Ukraine for the fourth time – this warm tradition, which was started by the scout organization “Plast”, annually warms the hearts of Ukrainians throughout the country during the cold winter period, the company said.
Despite the air raid warning, the ceremony of handing over the Bethlehem fire took place in a shelter. After its completion, everyone could take the fire to their own homes.
Tomorrow, December 16, the Light of Bethlehem for your home can also be obtained at the train stations of a number of cities in Ukraine, where safe stands will be installed – Kyiv, Vinnitsa, Khmelnitsky, Ternopil, Uzhgorod, Lvov, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Rivne, Lutsk, Korosten, Znamenka , Dnieper, Zaporozhye, Odessa, Poltava, Kramatorsk, Kharkov, Izyum, Chernigov, Konotop and Nikolaev.
