Ukraine repelled a massive attack by Russian drones last night.
On the night of December 15, the aggressor country attacked Ukraine with an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile and 108 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones. The drones were launched from the Russian regions of Kursk, Orel, Bryansk and Millerovo. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Telegram.
Anti-aircraft missile forces, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack. Air defense operated in Chernigov, Sumy, Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkassy, Khmelnitsky, Nikolaev, Kharkov, Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
56 Russian drones were shot down, and another 49 enemy drones were lost. Three more UAVs returned to Russia.
Due to the fall of downed drones, infrastructure, apartment and private buildings, cars and property of citizens in several regions of Ukraine were damaged. All victims are provided with assistance.
Let us remind you that on December 13, in the Kyiv region, as a result of an attack by Russian drones, the administrative building of the enterprise, two warehouses and a car were damaged. Rescuers extinguished the fire.
